Christmas Reminiscences Yard Sale!

Anybody remember back when, a few weeks before Christmas, the local TV station announced the arrival of Santa at one of the “big city’s” department stores? (It was in black and white in those days).

On Saturday—people worked during the week back then🥴—Mom would dress up the kids to get their pictures taken with the Fat Guy. Girls in their fancy Christmas dresses (worn only to Christmas church services); boys, sadly and painfully forced to wear corduroy britches, itchy sweaters and bowties! The final humiliation—forced to sit with your nerdy sister on that weird guy’s knee wondering why you can’t be roughhousing with your best friend, your dog, and wondering how long it could possibly take to snap one lousy picture!😡

Why did I ramble like that? ‘Cause, we have this really neat “dancing” Santa—like the guy in the first pic—which reminds me of the ones the department stores displayed in their showcase windows. Now, aren’t you sorry you wasted all your time reading this junk?

AND no, you “youngsters” probably don’t remember because you weren’t even born yet so you missed the good stuff!🥴

This CHRISTMAS sale, held on Friday, 11/15/24 and Saturday, 11/16/24 from 9:00 AM until 1:00PM, is a “rain or shine or SNOW” event since most of the merchandise will be in our “big building”.

I’ve included a few SAMPLE pictures of the KINDS of things we have to offer but we’re still getting set up so there’ll be more stuff available by the time you get here.

We’ll have almost anything you can find at a big box store but at REASONABLE prices! All of it is CLEAN and in EXCELLENT (or NEW) condition!
