Featured Estate Sale
Kaminski Auctions is set to host its highly anticipated Annual Thanksgiving Auction on Sunday, December 1st, at 11:00 AM at their gallery in Beverly, Massachusetts. This exciting event will feature a diverse and exceptional selection of items, ranging from fine American furniture to exquisite jewelry and fine art. A key highlight of the auction is a stunning collection of fine American furniture from a prestigious Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts estate, which includes standout pieces like a beautifully crafted early American New England tiger maple chest, a tiger maple serpentine-front chest, and a 19th-century English burlwood dining table complete with matching Queen Anne dining chairs. Furniture pieces such as an 18th-century Welsh cupboard in original finish From R. Jorgensen Antiques, Wells, Maine, a king-size Colonial-style 4-post bed, and exceptional pair of pencil post canopy beds from Leonard's Antiques in Seekonk, Massachusetts, also add a sense of historical charm to the event. The auction also boasts a significant array of valuable jewelry, including a platinum and diamond ring featuring a 4.21-carat pear-shaped diamond, a round brilliant-cut diamond ring, and an elegant pair of round brilliant-cut diamond earrings—all of which come with certified reports detailing their quality. Other notable jewelry pieces include a gold coin bracelet featuring five U.S. gold coins from 1855 to 1914, a 14k yellow gold bracelet designed by renowned 1960s New York designer Jack Gutschneider, and a vintage 14k white gold aquamarine ring with diamonds. In addition to the jewelry, the auction will offer high-quality Persian Sarouk rugs, including an antique example measuring 11'9" x 8'9" in excellent condition, as well as other fine textiles such as a Turkish carpet and a Persian Bidjar runner, some from the Manchester-by-the Sea collection. The fine art offerings are equally impressive, with works by celebrated artists like Julian Onderdonk, Alfred Thompson Bricher, and John Constable, as well as a striking oil on canvas by Jack Wolf and an eye-catching piece attributed to Jean Dufy. For collectors of decorative arts, the auction includes a rare Lalique vase, "Les Eleens Noir," featuring relief decorations of Greco-Roman athletes and signed with a numbered edition. Whether you are looking to acquire jewelry, fine art, or exceptional furniture, Kaminski Auctions offers an outstanding opportunity shop for the upcoming holidays, or just for something interesting to do on the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Preview hours will be held Monday – Saturday, November 25th-30th excluding the Thursday Thanksgiving holiday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and Sunday day of sale starting at 9:00 AM at the Kaminski Auction gallery at 117 Elliott Street, Rte. 62, Beverly, Massachusetts.
